After years of being unhappy with her smile, this lovely patient was ready to make a change. She was unhappy with the size and shape of her teeth, and felt she showed too much gum tissue in her smile.
The first step was a surgical gum-lift to raise the gum height on the four anterior teeth. This reduced the amount of gingival display, and helped to change the portions of the teeth by increasing the height. After allowing a few months for the gum position to settle, six porcelain veneers were placed. The patient was thrilled with her new smile!
